Loving it

Going on walks with two dogs and a baby is not easy! So we got Lee a Baby Bjorn (oooh lala!) Leah LOVES this thing! After 12 steps she is out, I mean truly fast asleep in record time. I think it is so funny when Vin wears it, from the back, nada, and then..... Bam! Instant baby!

He does these faces on purpose, he thinks he is so funny.

I don't.

Then..... I was having swing envy, I saw a friends baby swing and HAD to have it! I made my dad come with me and lug this thing home. It has 6 speeds, 10 sounds (ocean waves, prarie, lullabies, crickets...)and even swivels positions! This is the Cadillac of baby swings! I brought it home at 1:30, she was in it at 1:45 and she slept until 4:30 when I woke her up! She might still be sleeping, that is how awesome this swing is!

Loving the new toys, its like they are mine! I would get in this swing if I fit, I envy her naps !

love that cat

Leah loves her playmat, now that she actually opens her eyes, she loves this cat that hangs. I think her favorite activity is staring at the cat and enjoying her nuk. ahhh, the simple things.

He tries to take her toys. Sometimes off the mat, sometimes from her room, other times right off her car seat. What a toy hog.

hats and shoes and glasses, oh my!

Some of my girlfriends gave me these adorable hats and shoes for Leah, I am so anxious to have her wear them, but they are a smidge too big! I couldn't resist though, enjoy!

it was nice in the shade outside, so we took a few shots in her new flower power outfit. It was a bit bright so we brought out her shades, she is so coooool!

Vin and I debate this every day! I totally think that at certain times she looks more like me and then others like him. But here is proof, not even with a good picture does this little chubster look 5% more like me! I think she looks more like vin, but the look-alike meter does not lie!

Head's up!

Our girl picked up her head today! I caught her on video, yay! I am trying to upload the video, but it might be too big, I will keep trying. I sure do love these milestones, I can't wait for the next one, I think it is sitting up ;)

beautiful sunday

Today was a great sunday morning. Leah slept in until almost 9! Vin and I were in heaven, the dogs even needed the rest. When princess lee woke up, she even let us drink coffee and watch some sex and the city episodes we missed. I just love lazy sunday mornings :)

shopped hard

Leah went to the mall today, she had lunch, got a JETS jersey for the new season, and joined me in a coffee at Starbucks. It was tough day of shopping and Lee treated herself to a well deserved nap afterwards ;)

woah baby!

Leah went to the doctor today for her 1 month well-baby visit.

Drum roll please.....

Leah weights 11 lb. 8 oz. ! Woah baby! She was 8 lb 1 oz. last time we were there. Dr. Needle said she is in the 95th percentile for her weight, that means she is bigger than 95 percent of babies her age. Our girl can eat!

bebe pod

Leah got a bebe pod at my shower many moons ago and we decided to try it out today. Ta-da, she can sit up! She opened her eyes when she was in it and it was like a whole new world! She was smiley and making fun noises, I think she liked it.

Leah is such a girlie girl, she loves her bows! I learned how to make these bows, and whenever she is taking her nap, I channel my inner creativity and pull out the glue gun and sewing stuff and make my girl some bows! When I take Leah to school with me, the ladies in the office get a kick out of seeing what bow she is wearing that day, she is a little fashionista :)
